LEO&F was created in 2017 at the Federal University of Alfenas, Poços de Caldas Campus. The research carried out is focused on the area of physics with an emphasis on photonics and laser processing of materials. Prof. Marcelo Vivas advises undergraduate students in Science and Technology (scientific initiation) and postgraduate courses in Physics (PPGF) and Materials Science and Engineering (PPGCEM) at UNIFAL.
