Manufacturing of polymeric devices

In this line of research, we are interested in studying polymeric materials that can be used as optoelectronic devices. For example, we have studied azochromophores dispersed in PMMA films and chitosan NPs to explore their potential for applications in 2D and 3D optical storage via linear and nonlinear optical processes, respectively.

We have also investigated the photodegradation process of the semiconductor polymer Meh-PPV using the real-time UV-vis absorption technique. We have investigated the effect of concentration, solvent and light intensity on the photodegradation. In a second step, we also intend to investigate the potential of this material for 3D dosimetry.
